It was once stated on this Blog site by NemoKC that after the terror attack at Fort Hood that American Muslims and thier spokespeople and organizations denounced the act. THIS is what I would like to say on this matter and in general about what I see as a lack of courage and conviction of American Muslims to denounce the violence of thier own.
The recent Islamist terror attack against American warriors preparing for combat deployment from Fort Hood, Texas, serves as a harsh reminder that the threat of terror from home-grown radical Muslims remains a very real danger to our country. Major Hasan, the alleged terrorist murderer, appears to have been long under suspicion for his anti-American, pro-radical Islamist statements.
Following the shooting, many leading mainstream American press outlets blamed Major Hasan's attack on "loneliness"; of being angry over his treatment as the result of his Muslim faith, or his reluctance to support the war on terror by deployment to a war zone.
What was, as usual, overlooked by the sycophantic press was the stark reality that slapped all Americans in the face at Fort Hood: Major Hasan committed his terrorist act and did so with the full blessing of his version of "Allah"; the very same "Allah" that motivates Islamist terrorists like those in Hamas and al Qaeda in their demented desire to impose "paradise on Earth" by terror murdering all who disagree with their "religion of peace". Even Hasan's radical Islamist Imam, who formerly preached at a Falls Church, Virginia mosque called Hasan a "hero" for his attack. What version of Islam does Imam Anwar al-Aulaq represent?
CAIR said it was a "big surprise" this Imam held radical beliefs. Yet CAIR has no problem inviting speakers to CAIR events who advocate attacking U.S. troops, like American cleric Zaid Shakir who said:
"Islam doesn't permit us to hijack airplanes filled with civilian people," ...
"If you hijack an airplane filled with the 82nd Airborne, that's something else."
Beliefs of religious leaders like Shakir and al-Aulaq appear to be given a pass, and therein lies a major problem: the mainstream press in our country seems unreasonably fixated on the idea that many Muslims are so mentally unstable, so irrational, and so unable to stand up for themselves that excuses must be made for the behavior of radical, militant Muslims; no matter how heinous or despicable that behavior may be. Yes, these radical Muslims - whose minds are perverted with a violent form of political, militant Islam - are so misunderstood that we must excuse them even when they come to murder us.
When will this madness stop? How many innocents must be terror murdered before America’s righteous indignation motivates the people to demand our leaders either lead or get out of the way when it comes to dealing with Islamist terror; protected, nurtured and encouraged by Muslim Brotherhood front groups like CAIR? What is this irrational fear that motivates our so-called leaders to cower at the very mention of the word "Muslim"? Why must we continually apologize to radical Islam for our very existence? What is this wicked power Islamists exert over our institutions that causes many of us to fall all over ourselves in our rush to lie prostrate at the feet of radical Islamist groups like CAIR, and ask for forgiveness?
The real reason radical Islam enjoys the special protections of the press and some of our government agencies? Fear of reprisal.
When it comes to the mainstream press, the days of the fearless investigative reporter, backed up by a fire-breathing editor, supported by a news organization worthy of the name are long gone; replaced by "reporters" and "editors" literally afraid of their own shadows. The North American press, once the envy of the world, is mired in a form of political correctness that undermines the security of our country; refusing to recognize its own appeasement while criticizing those who do the right thing in defending our country. This is cowardice in its worse form; self-imposed. How sick is this?
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has repeatedly said that Americans cannot blame all of Islam for the actions of a few.
Fair enough.
However, we can, and do, directly blame CAIR for fostering an atmosphere that lends support and encouragement to Islamic terrorists like Hamas...and Major Hasan. Possibly sensing further exposure of CAIR's dangerous radical ideology that includes claims that America's war on terror is "war on Islam", CAIR appears frantic in making a like-minded Major Hasan out to be anything other than a radicalized Muslim.
A panting Ibrahim Hooper said: "Why can't the killer at Fort Hood just be a crazy guy?"
CAIR condemns the Fort Hood massacre; yet CAIR’s own senior officials are on record making statements encouraging or excusing Islamic terror, such as:
"Fighting for freedom, fighting for Islam, that is not suicide…they kill themselves for Islam."
Which is true, CAIR condemns Islamic terrorism, or approves it?
CAIR, the self-described "Islamic civil rights group" threatened to sue Anti-CAIR several years ago over the statements accusing CAIR of supporting Islamic terrorists, Islamic terrorist groups, and Islamic terrorist supporting countries. When Anti-CAIR refused to back down, CAIR sued. The result of CAIR’s attempt to silence Anti-CAIR? CAIR refused to answer discovery questions and ultimately ran away from its own lawsuit.
How is it that CAIR, the great "defender of Islam" in America, could not even stand up to two guys and a laptop?
What destroyed CAIR’s case? The truth.
Yet, the mainstream press and some politicians in this country continue to run and kowtow to CAIR every time a tragedy like Fort Hood happens; willingly lending credibility to a group that has none among the majority of Americans who know better than to believe the propaganda filth perpetrated by CAIR’s Islamist terrorism supporting lapdogs.
To add insult to the Fort Hood massacre, CAIR is begging for donations for "defending Islam" in the mainstream press; i,e, conning the rubes into believing that the massacre had nothing to do with Islam. CAIR, an organization that supports terror in the name of Islam, steps over the still-warm bodies of American warriors to make a buck to support their propaganda efforts to destroy our country and support those who will kill us if we give them half a chance to do so.
Remember that this is the same CAIR that raised cash for the Holy Land Foundation following 9-11 under a misleading donation link that seemed to suggest money was being raised for the American heroes of 9-11. Imagine their surprise when the duped donors learned their hard-earned cash was being used to fund the very strain of Islamist terror that brought down the Twin Towers.
CAIR, the "defender" of Islamic rights in North America, is surely supported by Muslims in North America, right?
Maybe.
As Frank Gaffney reports, CAIR is actually shrinking, and has been doing so for many years. According to Gaffney (President of the Center for Security Policy), CAIR’s membership stood at 1,700 in 2006. Consider that this represents less than .001% of Muslims in North America and it is plain to see that the majority of Muslims in North America do not regard CAIR as their spokesman or as "Defender of Muslim rights".
What do North American Muslims know about CAIR that the New York Times and the rest of the mainstream media do not? Why doesn’t the mainstream media try and find out?
Gaffney goes on to point out that not only are CAIR’s membership numbers down, but that support from old friends is down as well. While CAIR reports that its "banquets" are sold out, the fact is that most of them lose money and old reliable's, such as ambassadors from predominantly Muslim countries, no longer bother to show up to CAIR events. How curious that everyone seems to be abandoning CAIR, yet it continues to raise money. Who is donating this money and why?
Gaffney, to be fair, does point out that CAIR does have at least one "respectable" supporter:
"The one bit of good news for CAIR at the 2009 event – well, in addition to their announcement that their fundraiser was "sold out" – came from Libya. Not only did the ambassador himself attend the October 24, 2009 event, but "The People’s Bureau of the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya" also took out a full-page ad in the printed program. CAIR can take comfort knowing that at least Muammar al-Gaddafi cares for CAIR."
The terrorist murderer of Lockerbie supports CAIR! Who knew? … and CAIR repudiates Islamist terror?
CAIR says that it is wrong to blame all Muslims for the actions of a few; this is true. However, it is equally wrong for North American Muslims to remain largely silent, except for a handful, to the terrorist supporting actions of CAIR. We need to see a Muslim-led protest at the headquarters of CAIR.
We need to encourage and see our fellow American Muslims by the score stand up for themselves and against radical variations of Islam, embraced by the likes of CAIR, that are - as described by one American Muslim - "truly a threat" to this country.

POWER AND LIGHT DISTRICT

Last night I watched a segment on F4 News which featured a protest about dress code discrimination at the Power and Light District by Rev. Vernon Howard of the Second Baptist Church and Rev. Mark Tolbert of the Victorious Life Church.
Both Reverends and their followers are concerned that the dress code is being enforced in a discriminatory fashion.
I will stand with them if they agree that there should be a dress code and I will stand with them if they agree that the code should be enforced equally.
The Power and Light District is a party place.
Do they stand against the excessive use of alcohol and drugs in public places by all patrons, regardless of race, of the district?
Do they stand against excessively loud and lewd rap music in all public places by anyone?
Do they stand against all persons wearing pants which are too loose and too low thereby allowing the public to see the wearers butt crack?
Do they stand against young men wearing pants which are so loose and so low that the wearer has to grasp the front of the pants in such a way that it looks as if they are grasping their male member?
I await a reply.
I can stand with both of these Reverends if they would agree to enforcing, across the board, a dress code which promotes decency. I will not stand with them if this is just another attempt to excuse bad behavior because of race.

The idea that Republicans were the party that brought about the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is being thrown around on the web. At first, I thought this was too silly to spend much time on. But it seems to be a growing tall tale of conservative goodness! Many websites seem to have taken this as a theme of discussion. In reality it is nothing more than history told with a bias. (Which happens frequently, I might add.) The continuing advancement of this particular bit of revisionism needs to be addressed before the myth becomes a psuedo-reality.
Recently on this site, jstol regurgitated these conservative talking points by stating:
"The Liberal wing of the Democrat party is the party of segregation. To deny this is to deny history.
The Democrat Party was responsible for supporting slavery. It took a Republican, Abraham Linclon, to end slavery.
The Democrat Party Party, in the form of the Southern Democrats (Dixiecrats), was responsible for prolonging segregation. It took action on the part of Republicans in Congress to push the legislation through in 1964 to end segregation and promote civil rights."
Now members of a Black Republican group are putting out bill boards proclaiming that Martin Luther King was a Republican.
In fairness, part of this is true. Some 150 years ago, the Democrats were in part responsible for supporting slavery...although the main issue was not slavery per se, but the issue of state's rights versus the powers of the Federal government. (Back then it was the Democrats who were TEA PARTY members.) But jstol is correct that it took Abraham Lincoln to end slavery and it is correct that Lincoln was a Republican. It is also true that "Dixiecrats" were responsible for prolonging the fight for desegregation in the 60's. Fifty-four days were spent in filibuster with Sen. Byrd (D-WVA) speaking for a record-breaking 14 hours and 13 minutes to keep the Civil Rights Act from being passed. But that's only part of the story. The reality is that this was not a Democrat vs Republican fight....it was a North vs South fight with a bi-partisan effort made by both sides of the struggle. And at that time in our history, most Southerners voted Democratic BECAUSE the Republicans WERE the party of Lincoln.
Here are the facts: On June 11, 1963, President John F. Kennedy asked for legislation from Congress "giving all Americans the right to be served in facilities which are open to the public—hotels, restaurants, theaters, retail stores, and similar establishments," as well as "greater protection for the right to vote." Eight days later he sent a proposed bill to Congress to be voted upon. It was considered by Civil Rights advocates as a step in the right direction but overall too weak in enforcement to be completely effective.
Southern legislators from both sides of the aisle then began to do everything possible to either slow passage of the bill or to kill it outright. During the time that the bill was stuck in various committees, President Kennedy was assassinated. At which point, Lyndon Johnson used both his extensive background in legislative politics and the presidential "bully pulpit" to rally support for the bill. At this time, Democrats held majorities in both houses of Congress. So it is true that you can say that Democrats tried to kill The Civil Rights Act. Because a lot of Southern Democrats who were chairmen of specific committees did try to do so. But to do so, you must ignore Lyndon Johnson's efforts, nor can you then claim that it was Republicans who were responsible for this piece of legislation. The final votes on the bill tell the true tale.
The original House bill passed by a vote of 290 to 130. Of those votes, Democrats voted 152 to 96 in support of passage and Republicans voted 138 to 34 in support. The Senate version passed by a vote of 73 to 27. Of which, Democrats voted 46 to 21 to support the bill and Republicans voted 27 to 6 in support.
Now where these numbers get interesting is when you look at the vote from the standpoint of Northern legislators versus the votes of Southern legislators (combining both parties.) In the House, Southern Democrats voted 7 to 87 against the Bill and Southern Republicans voted 0-10 against it. (In other words, NOT A SINGLE SOUTHERN REPUBLICAN CONGRESSMAN SUPPORTED THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT.) SOUTHERN CONGRESSMEN VOTED 7 TO 97 AGAINST THE BILL. Northern Democrats voted 145 to 9 in support of the bill while Northern Republicans voted 138 to 24 in support. NORTHERN CONGRESSMEN VOTED 283 TO 33 IN SUPPORT OF THE BILL.
While in the Senate, Southern Democrats voted 1 to 20 AGAINST the bill, while the lone Southern Republican also voted against the bill. Northern Democratic Senators voted 45 to 1 in favor of the bill while Northern Republicans were a little less enthusiastic in support of Civil Rights, they voted 27 to 5 in favor of the bill. FINAL TOTALS: SOUTHERN SENATORS VOTED 1 TO 21 AGAINST THE BILL AND NORTHERN SENATORS VOTED 72 TO 6 IN SUPPORT.
So when you examine the numbers, it becomes clear that while Democrats were obviously divided by region on this vote, so were Republicans. And it is a lie of history to try to claim that Democrats were the "Party of Segregation".
And as to Martin Luther King being a Republican. That's true. Martin Luther King SR. was a registered Republican but his son, Martin Luther King JR, never claimed ANY party affiliation. And if you grew up in the early 80's during the debate for establishment of a Martin Luther King Holiday, you know that Republicans then were not only NOT claiming MLK as one of their own....they were objecting to the establishment of the holiday altogether. Why? Because Republicans said at that time that Martin Luther King, Jr WAS A COMMUNIST! (And now he's one of them!)
And that's why it's so important to read history rather than just listen to regurgitated talking points!

One of the controversial issues of the Spanish Civil War, is the role played by the Soviet Union during the 3 years-long struggle ¿served the Stalin regime to the Republican cause, or conversely, you can say it was another of his executioners?, we will show the facts and everyone decides where final positioning andalusia.
Soviet aid to the Republican side in the military, was a ball of oxygen, given the international circumstances existing after the creation of the Committee of London, an organization created at the request of France to control the foreign intervention in Spain, which is joined 27 countries, among which are the major democratic powers of Europe at that time Great Britain and France.
This committee did not ever end, because from the beginning Germany, Italy and Portugal helped the rebels and the Republican side received support mainly from Russia, Mexico and France. Also the United States helped the two sides since the rebels were selling gasoline and Republicans are selling aircraft, with the exception of Mexico and the United States, all were part of the Committee of London.
However, Soviet aid was conditional on the Republican side from the outset, the political aspect, because of the war in Russia against opponents of the Stalin regime, the persecution of the Trotskyist or those who leave the Stalinist doctrine that remained dormant in the XV Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union CPSU, which expelled the Trotskyists to Zinoviev and Kámenev, they were retracted and were readmitted into the party but did not recover their positions within the CPSU in 1934 with the beginning of the great purge and after the murder of Sergei Kirov, the party were expelled, arrested and forced to admit "moral complicity", after which they were sentenced to different periods of conviction in August 1936 both were sentenced to death in a trial farce. After expelling Trotsky from the party, was deported to Kazakhstan and finally expelled from the USSR. In 1929 until his death, he kept a firm opposition to Stalinism until his assassination in Mexico, August 21, 1940. The BOC was a communist party put on all of Catalonia, its leader was Joaquin Maurin had been leader of the Balearic Communist Federation, a federation of the PCE that territorial split of the party in 1930.
The POUM criticized what I found and totalitarian bureaucratic degeneration of the Russian revolution at the hands of Stalin, was the only party that ordered Processes Moscow, in his paper "La Batalla". Despite being a revolutionary Marxist party, the POUM had multiple internal trends.

So let’s start with the Rev. Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church who spent the early part of this week protesting in Washington D.C. They held anti-Obama signs, anti-gay signs & anti-abortion signs as they marched outside….SIDWELL FRIENDS SCHOOL, which is attended by the Obama children. The church website posted the following explanation for the site of the protest: “Quakers?! Are you frigging kidding me? You pretend to be all non-violent, and you allow the most bloody, deceitful, evil, murderous bastard and his shemale sidekick to place their satanic spawn within your four walls?" Note to the Westboro Baptists, the verse in the Bible where Jesus says, “Suffer the little children” didn’t mean to make the children suffer by calling them “satanic spawn”! You people are real LOSERS!
Ex-Congressman William Jefferson (D-LA), who brought whole new meaning to the phrase “cold hard cash” was sentenced to 13 years in prison for corruption and is now a 13 year loser (with time off for good behavior)!
Senator David Vitter (R-LA) wins a nod as a loser due to comments by one of the challengers for his Senate seat. “I'm not one to judge someone's sexual activity, but what annoys me is that he's so hard-core "family values," and he puts his wife and kids out there, saying he's a Christian family man. Then he's caught up in a prostitution scandal. He's a hypocrite”, said Stormy Daniels. The porn-star-turned-candidate then went on to point out that if elected, she would be able to avoid sex scandals because all of her sex tapes can be found on the shelves at video stores. You know you’re a loser when a porn star can claim the moral high ground.
The Catholic Church also made my personal list of LOSERS this week. Not because of the church’s influence in getting the Stupak amendment passed; I might not like the legislation but if you support the Right to Life movement, it’s your right to petition your representatives in Congress. However, if you are going to take a stand for the rights of the unborn, you should also be willing to support children AFTER birth as well. For instance, take the case of Nathan Halbach, a 22 year old man who is dying of brain cancer. His mother also has terminal cancer. Nathan’s estranged father is Father Henry Willenborg, a Franciscan priest. When the Church was asked to help pay for medical treatment…they refused! Father Henry was never a “Dad” to Nathan, the least he could do for his son is to petition the Order to help make his son’s death a little easier. But he didn’t. And the Church also weighed in on gay marriage this week in D.C. by promising to stop all charitable work in the city if the D.C. city council passed a gay marriage ordinance. I don’t remember Jesus making everyone take a morality “litmus test” before feeding them bread & fish. I’m sure Jesus would be proud! So for these two actions…I’ve got the Catholic Church on the LOSERS LIST!
Congressman Barney Franks (D-MA) gets a nomination for his comments to a local Fox News reporter. When asked if he was present at the home of his lover in 1997 during a pot bust, he said he was but that he didn’t know the plants were there and since, "I not a great outdoorsman…I would not recognize most plants." Now that may be true, but to put it in those terms leaves you open to a lot of silly news commentary. Like Wolf Blitzer and Lou Dobbs who apparently can identify pot plants by smell and sight! (Who also get a nomination for LOSER because people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.) Congressman, there were a lot of better ways to have phrased your comments than you did! But at least you improved on Bill Clinton’s “I didn’t inhale” line.
Tweeter-extraordinaire, Sarah Palin also gets mention this week. Not for all of the factual inaccuracies found by the AP in your new book, not for your Oprah interview, not even for letting your book tour get upstaged by your daughter’s baby daddy’s “hockey stick”. You get named LOSER because of your crazy assertion that moving the words “In God We Trust” from the front of the coin to the rim of the coin is part of the great Obama conspiracy! The truth is that this change was made by the Bush administration and you are a LOSER when your conspiracy theories are so far out there that even FOX NEWS fact checks you.
Democratic strategist Ted Devine proved to be a loser this week when he responded to threats from various Democratic groups to halt donations to the party in favor of supporting specific candidates. Many people do not want their money to help support Democrats who vote against Health Care Reform. Mr. Devine stated that, “I think it is a very powerful point of influence when you go to people who rely on donations to fund very expensive campaigns and tell them the people they count on won't be there to support them because of their position on a single issue”. Mr. Devine, only a LOSER forgets whose money it is to begin with that supports those “expensive campaigns”. We'll spend it where we want. And if quality reform DOESN’T pass….we’ll need that money for our increasing premiums!
And finally, Tea Party organizers in Danville, VA get listed as LOSERS for their announced plans to burn in effigy, Speaker of the House Pelosi and local representative, Congressman Tom Perriello (D-VA) for their support of health care reform. You can protest all you want…but you cross the line when you start burning people (even in effigy). I know you feel you personally don’t have representation in Congress but the fact remains that more people from your district voted for Perriello than any other candidate. So he IS your representation even if you don’t agree with him. The neat thing about Democracy is that the majority rules! I remember being called unpatriotic and treasonous for having a bumper sticker that read, “Somewhere in Texas there’s a village without it’s idiot”….that bumper sticker seems to pale in comparison to you LOSERS playing with fire.

The Liberal wing of the Democrat party is the party of segregation. To deny this is to deny history.
The Democrat Party was responsible for supporting slavery. It took a Republican, Abraham Linclon, to end slavery.
The Democrat Party Party, in the form of the Southern Democrats (Dixiecrats), was responsible for prolonging segregation. It took action on the part of Republicans in Congress to push the legislation through in 1964 to end segregation and promote civil rights.
The Democrat Party is STILL the party of segregation. By undermining a significant portion of the population with welfare handouts they have managed to keep many out of the workplace AND out of many neighborhoods because they cannot afford the homes in those neighborhoods. They don't call it segregation but it is segregation nonetheless. It is de facto segregation of a large portion of our population. All one has to do is to look at America's inner cities to realize that this is true.
The answer to ending this de facto segregation in America is job creation not welfare in all of it's many forms. We need to bring industry back to America instead of driving it away. We need to create an environment where business can flourish, where our unemployment drops back to 4% or less. We need to get away from our dependence on foreign energy by tapping our own resources here at home. We need to rebuild America not tear it down and tax what is left to death.
We CAN end this defact segregation and we can have an America where everyone prospers but it won't happen under the current administration because they don't know how to build a prosperous and vibrant economy. Re-distribution of wealth creates nothing and only turns us all a nasty shade of gray.

The blood of this massacre had hardly stopped flowing before members of the media were cautioning us not to view all Muslims as terrorists. That should go without saying, but what should not go without saying is that we'd better get serious about the obvious danger of excusing Muslims who make it clear that they hate this country. Discriminating against people because of their race or religion is a description of bigotry, but keeping a close eye on people who give every indication that they're dangerous is more than sensible -- it's a vital cog in the survival instinct.

Isn’t it amazing the lack of coverage Mr. Muhammad’s well deserved execution is getting – even from the left?
Especially, given that this was worst terrorist attack on US soil until Mr. Hasan’s recent jihad.
But even with this natural tie-in, there has been very little coverage of Mr. Muhammad’s send-off, or any remembrances of his killing spree. Which is odd, given how much our watchdog media normally enjoy covering mass murderers.
And yet somehow talking about Muslim mass murderers always seems to be anathema to our watchdog media.

The governmedia has been twisting itself into pretzels in attempts to justify siding with Muslim terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan against the memories of the 13 Americans he murdered. "Compassion fatigue" doesn't even begin to pass the laugh test, but our liberal rulers have an alternate explanation for Hasan's killing spree: he was harassed for being a Muslim — the implication being that mass murder is an appropriate response to teasing for those who belong to a politically sacred special interest group.

Let me kill the harassment myth right now: Political correctness rules in today's Army. We even protect our enemies these days. Had any soldier harassed Hasan because of his Islamist nuttiness, that soldier would've disappeared faster than a Franklin on a Times Square sidewalk.
Any snarky remarks directed toward Hasan — if there were any — would've come in reaction to his railing against our government, our military's mission and the monstrous injustice that, after grabbing an education in psychiatry worth hundreds of thousands of dollars from our military, he might have had to do his duty.
Far from being harassed himself, this creep was allowed to harass the soldiers he treated for stress disorders. According to colleagues, Hasan not only argued with his patients about our wars, but preached Islam to those under his care. (Just what troubled vets needed, no doubt.)
Prejudice? You bet. In this terrorist's favor. Nobody in Hasan's chain of command had the sense of duty to weed this pervert out. Why? Hasan would've accused them of discrimination. And the officer who brought charges against Hasan would've been the one whose career suffered. - Blog post

I'm very happy that ladyjean posted her blog "Passion or Obsession?" this evening. I am happy to see that she said that she is alarmed by the rift between the Right and the Left. I have to disagree that obsession is a bad thing though. If this country's founders had not been obsessed with the concept of freedom we would all still be British subjects.
Yes, the rift has grown and it continues to grow. I have made many, many attempts over this past year to correspond peacably via telephone, email and "snail" mail with my representatives in Congress. Their replies to me indicated that they wanted to tell me what their thoughts are (our thoughts did not coincide). They were not at all interested in my thoughts and they gave no weight to my arguments. In short, for them, the debate was over and I didn't count. I think that fits with ladyjean's definition of Obsession. Obsession on the one side breeds obsession on the other side. I agree with ladyjean that the current state of affairs is alarming (of course, if those on my side would just "shut up and get out of the way) everything would just be hunky-dorey but that ain't gonna happen. Every time someone tells me that I should get out of the way, every time someone tries to scare me off by calling me a racist or a hater they only stiffen my resolve but they don't intimidate me because I know that what they are saying is not true and only designed as an attempt to scare me off. The rift grows.
I wrote blogs about Barack Obama before he was elected. I wrote them because of his politics and not because of his mixed heritage or the color of his skin. Those things do NOT determine what direction a man will take this country in - his politics do. I saw Barack Obama as Jimmy Carter on steroids and I see him as a threat to this nation. You may disagree and, although you are entitled to your opinion, I believe you are very, very wrong. Many who stand by this President have an agenda which meshes with his - the dismantling of this country as we know it. I'm against that and I'm fully prepared to die for it but so was George Washington, Thomas Paine, Martin Luther King Jr. (he did die for it), Rosa Parks and many others.
I know of people who are ready to take up arms in defense of this country in defense of it's founding principles. I caution them that the time has not come. My influence is small. So far no one has done that. This nation is far closer than many might imagine to armed insurrection. So, yes, when you think of obsession remind yourself that it IS here. Remind yourself that obsession has ocurred here before. If you think that it cannot happen here today think again. I'm simply reading the tea leaves left behind. What I see doesn't look very good to me. Unless things change and people on ALL sides become more reasonable I believe that America is ready to erupt.

Last week it was a Muslim whack job at Fort Hood who killed/wounded 43. Not too long ago it was a lone Muslim gunman who killed an Army Recruiter. On 9/11 it was Muslim hijackers that killed nearly 3000. How long are we going to continue to view Muslims as members of a "religion"? I believe Islam is a dangerous cult and needs to be labled as such and that we need to cease respecting it as a "religion". According to Koranic scriptue they are charged with killing the "infidel' (an infidel is anyone who does not embrace Islam according to them).
This information pre-dates the shootings at Fort Hood but it does show a President who is out of touch with reality:
