What would the Old timers say about this upcoming winter?
The animals and even people can tell us a lot about the upcoming weather conditions... In the old days you could go by the Farmers Almanac but I think they have gotten lazy with the data and miss much more often.... Most of us never notice but some of us do......... Do you have any secrets passed down by your ancestors.....? I love watching nature........ What does the environment tell you about our upcoming winter....??
Check out the link below........

Winter Weather Predictions!

The time has come for the four of us in the weather office to sit down and discuss our thoughts on the upcoming winter. This is my third year doing this and it isn't any easier than the first time we sat down. The first year I honestly think a little slack was thrown my way since I was the new kid in town, fresh from my lifetime stint in the southeastern part of the U.S. (aka there wasn't much I knew about winter forecasting...but hey, I was in the right place to learn!) Last year I was going into the forecast with one real winter under my belt...and after a snowy first winter, I felt a repeat performance was in order. Boy was I wrong, I forecasted 27" last winter and we ended up at 14.6"(wayyyy off!) Needless to say, this year I am trying to keep me streak alive for either guessing closest to the snow total (which I did my first winter forecast) or nail the coldest low (which I did last year at -6). Then I wonder if my beginner's luck will last into winter forecast #3...I guess we'll know by next spring!
I went back and forth on my forecast, definitely taking into consideration El Nino's presence this year. I also took into consideration the quick 1.2" of snow we saw earlier this week (and freaked out momentarily for my below average snowfall forecast number). I then decided to stick to my gut feeling for this winter and came up with some numbers that I feel pretty confident about.
The entire team was in pretty close agreement about certain things for this upcoming winter...and tonight you'll get to see what we all forecasted. The winter weather forecast airs during our 9 p.m. newscast and right after it airs, we'll post not only the forecast but also a special web extra where we go into more detail about our thoughts. You can find all of this at the following link:

As for the weekend forecast...I kept us in the 50s all weekend, with cloud cover increasing each day. Saturday looks great with mid to possibly upper 50s for highs. We'll have to keep an eye out for a few sprinkles or light showers tomorrow as well. Sunday looks dry, but with extra clouds around which will keep us a little cooler, but still in the 50s. Next week is when we'll see our next chance for widespread rain and cooler weather returning...so get out there and enjoy the rest of your beautiful Friday!

Monday Moments.....Thanksgiving Seeds

Many people will be traveling during Thanksgiving week to join family for this special time. I am one of those who will travel…I will be in Texas to visit my Mom and family. I look forward to being with her and it will bring joy to my heart to see her. I will be a very grateful person on Thanksgiving Day, both for my family in Texas and for dear friends on the KC blogs.
Because I may not have time over the weekend to share my Monday Moments with you, I am posting it now. I hope that you and your loved ones will have a thankful Thanksgiving!

“Thanksgiving Seeds”

Thanksgiving is like a seed that is planted in the ground and produces a bountiful harvest. When we sow seeds of thanksgiving, it will produce good things in our lives. We will reap a harvest of joy, contentment and compassion.

The most joyful people are the thankful ones. God’s gift to the thankful is joy. Are you sad? Find something for which to thank Him. Are you discouraged? Consider times of encouragement and thank Him. You will soon find your heart rejoicing! The best medicine for a discouraged heart is thanksgiving. If you have a grateful heart, there will be joy there, too.

When we foster an attitude of gratitude, we can be content with what we have and not wish for what we do not have. Thanksgiving for even the smallest of things develops a contented spirit within us. A spirit of discontent cannot flourish in an atmosphere of thanksgiving, but contentment grows in the soil of a grateful heart.

When we count our blessings, we understand that God wants us to share with others. Seeing all we have to be thankful for gives us compassion for those in need. A thankful person will care about others…..will share of his resources with others. How can we be truly thankful if we do not recognize and respond to the needs of others?

Have a Thanksgiving that makes you smile! May God give you and your loved ones hearts to plant seeds of thanksgiving, and may you know God’s joy, contentment and compassion during this season of thanks.

-THE PENDING HEALTH CARE BILL IS RACIALLY ORIENTED-
The Rev. Jesse Jackson on Wednesday night injected race into the national debate on health care, saying any black lawmaker who votes against President Obama's sweeping overhaul isn't really black, the Hill newspaper reported.
"We even have blacks voting against the health care bill," Jackson reportedly said at a Congressional Black Caucus reception Wednesday night honoring the 25th anniversary of the civil rights leader's run for president.
"You can't vote against health care and call yourself a black man," the Hill reported him saying.

So, if this legislation passes will Barney Frank be a Gay Black man??? LOL

Found this on http://news.yahoo.com/s/ynews/ynews_ts988 regarding Palin.
Summary below:

For the second time in just over a week, Fox News is coming under fire for misusing old news footage. The latest flap is leading some people to charge that the cable news network is intentionally misleading its audience, while Fox claims a "production error."
Wednesday's incident occurred when Fox News host Gregg Jarrett mentioned that a Sarah Palin appearance and book signing in Grand Rapids, Michigan had a massive turnout. As footage rolled of a smiling and waving Palin amidst a throng of fans, Jarrett noted that the former Republican vice-presidential candidate is "continuing to draw huge crowds while she's promoting her brand-new book,'' adding that the images being shown were "some of the pictures just coming in to us.... The lines earlier had formed this morning."
However, the video used in the segment was from a 2008 McCain/Palin campaign rally. In response to the minor uproar that arose after clips of Jarrett's report hit the Internet, Fox senior vice-president of news Michael Clemente issued an initial statement saying, "This was a production error in which the copy editor changed a script and didn't alert the control room to update the video."
On Thursday afternoon, Fox News issued an on-air apology delivered by host Jane Skinner:
Yesterday we told you about Sarah Palin kicking off her book tour and then we spoke to Sean Hannity about an interview that he did with former Governor Palin. When introducing the segment we showed you footage of people lining up in Michigan for a book signing that evening. In the tease before the segment, the tease to commercial, we told you how those people were already lining up to meet Palin. The problem is we didn't show you the video we were actually referencing. Instead we mistakenly aired what's called "file tape" of Sarah Palin. We didn't mean to mislead anybody in that tease. It was a mistake, and for that we apologize.
The current mishap comes on the heels of a controversy sparked last week when footage from a conservative rally held over the summer was played on "Hannity" during a segment on a more recent rally. During the clip, host Sean Hannity marveled over the large turnout for a Washington, DC protest. The Daily Show later pointed out that there seemed to be some inconsistencies with the video shown on Hannity's show, namely that the atmospheric conditions seemed to vary from shot to shot. Hannity later apologized on the air for what he called "an inadvertent mistake."
Barely a week into Palin’s blitz to promote “Going Rogue,” media coverage is becoming its own story. Fox News rival MSNBC caught heat last week for using altered images of Sarah Palin on the air, for which they later apologized. On Wednesday, Yahoo! News reported Newsweek’s defense of their latest controversial cover, which Palin herself blasted as “sexist.”

CAIR and North American Muslims--The Truth

(Repost: due to being lost in the shuffle several days ago by Fox4)
It was once stated on this Blog site by NemoKC that after the terror attack at Fort Hood that American Muslims and thier spokespeople and organizations denounced the act. THIS is what I would like to say on this matter and in general about what I see as a lack of courage and conviction of American Muslims to denounce the violence of thier own.

The recent Islamist terror attack against American warriors preparing for combat deployment from Fort Hood, Texas, serves as a harsh reminder that the threat of terror from home-grown radical Muslims remains a very real danger to our country. Major Hasan, the alleged terrorist murderer, appears to have been long under suspicion for his anti-American, pro-radical Islamist statements.

Following the shooting, many leading mainstream American press outlets blamed Major Hasan's attack on "loneliness"; of being angry over his treatment as the result of his Muslim faith, or his reluctance to support the war on terror by deployment to a war zone.

What was, as usual, overlooked by the sycophantic press was the stark reality that slapped all Americans in the face at Fort Hood: Major Hasan committed his terrorist act and did so with the full blessing of his version of "Allah"; the very same "Allah" that motivates Islamist terrorists like those in Hamas and al Qaeda in their demented desire to impose "paradise on Earth" by terror murdering all who disagree with their "religion of peace". Even Hasan's radical Islamist Imam, who formerly preached at a Falls Church, Virginia mosque called Hasan a "hero" for his attack. What version of Islam does Imam Anwar al-Aulaq represent?

CAIR said it was a "big surprise" this Imam held radical beliefs. Yet CAIR has no problem inviting speakers to CAIR events who advocate attacking U.S. troops, like American cleric Zaid Shakir who said:

"Islam doesn't permit us to hijack airplanes filled with civilian people," ...
"If you hijack an airplane filled with the 82nd Airborne, that's something else."

Beliefs of religious leaders like Shakir and al-Aulaq appear to be given a pass, and therein lies a major problem: the mainstream press in our country seems unreasonably fixated on the idea that many Muslims are so mentally unstable, so irrational, and so unable to stand up for themselves that excuses must be made for the behavior of radical, militant Muslims; no matter how heinous or despicable that behavior may be. Yes, these radical Muslims - whose minds are perverted with a violent form of political, militant Islam - are so misunderstood that we must excuse them even when they come to murder us.

When will this madness stop? How many innocents must be terror murdered before America’s righteous indignation motivates the people to demand our leaders either lead or get out of the way when it comes to dealing with Islamist terror; protected, nurtured and encouraged by Muslim Brotherhood front groups like CAIR? What is this irrational fear that motivates our so-called leaders to cower at the very mention of the word "Muslim"? Why must we continually apologize to radical Islam for our very existence? What is this wicked power Islamists exert over our institutions that causes many of us to fall all over ourselves in our rush to lie prostrate at the feet of radical Islamist groups like CAIR, and ask for forgiveness?

The real reason radical Islam enjoys the special protections of the press and some of our government agencies? Fear of reprisal.

When it comes to the mainstream press, the days of the fearless investigative reporter, backed up by a fire-breathing editor, supported by a news organization worthy of the name are long gone; replaced by "reporters" and "editors" literally afraid of their own shadows. The North American press, once the envy of the world, is mired in a form of political correctness that undermines the security of our country; refusing to recognize its own appeasement while criticizing those who do the right thing in defending our country. This is cowardice in its worse form; self-imposed. How sick is this?

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has repeatedly said that Americans cannot blame all of Islam for the actions of a few.

Fair enough.

However, we can, and do, directly blame CAIR for fostering an atmosphere that lends support and encouragement to Islamic terrorists like Hamas...and Major Hasan. Possibly sensing further exposure of CAIR's dangerous radical ideology that includes claims that America's war on terror is "war on Islam", CAIR appears frantic in making a like-minded Major Hasan out to be anything other than a radicalized Muslim.

A panting Ibrahim Hooper said: "Why can't the killer at Fort Hood just be a crazy guy?"

CAIR condemns the Fort Hood massacre; yet CAIR’s own senior officials are on record making statements encouraging or excusing Islamic terror, such as:

"Fighting for freedom, fighting for Islam, that is not suicide…they kill themselves for Islam."

Which is true, CAIR condemns Islamic terrorism, or approves it?

CAIR, the self-described "Islamic civil rights group" threatened to sue Anti-CAIR several years ago over the statements accusing CAIR of supporting Islamic terrorists, Islamic terrorist groups, and Islamic terrorist supporting countries. When Anti-CAIR refused to back down, CAIR sued. The result of CAIR’s attempt to silence Anti-CAIR? CAIR refused to answer discovery questions and ultimately ran away from its own lawsuit.
How is it that CAIR, the great "defender of Islam" in America, could not even stand up to two guys and a laptop?
What destroyed CAIR’s case? The truth.

Yet, the mainstream press and some politicians in this country continue to run and kowtow to CAIR every time a tragedy like Fort Hood happens; willingly lending credibility to a group that has none among the majority of Americans who know better than to believe the propaganda filth perpetrated by CAIR’s Islamist terrorism supporting lapdogs.

To add insult to the Fort Hood massacre, CAIR is begging for donations for "defending Islam" in the mainstream press; i,e, conning the rubes into believing that the massacre had nothing to do with Islam. CAIR, an organization that supports terror in the name of Islam, steps over the still-warm bodies of American warriors to make a buck to support their propaganda efforts to destroy our country and support those who will kill us if we give them half a chance to do so.

Remember that this is the same CAIR that raised cash for the Holy Land Foundation following 9-11 under a misleading donation link that seemed to suggest money was being raised for the American heroes of 9-11. Imagine their surprise when the duped donors learned their hard-earned cash was being used to fund the very strain of Islamist terror that brought down the Twin Towers.

CAIR, the "defender" of Islamic rights in North America, is surely supported by Muslims in North America, right?
Maybe.
As Frank Gaffney reports, CAIR is actually shrinking, and has been doing so for many years. According to Gaffney (President of the Center for Security Policy), CAIR’s membership stood at 1,700 in 2006. Consider that this represents less than .001% of Muslims in North America and it is plain to see that the majority of Muslims in North America do not regard CAIR as their spokesman or as "Defender of Muslim rights".

What do North American Muslims know about CAIR that the New York Times and the rest of the mainstream media do not? Why doesn’t the mainstream media try and find out?

Gaffney goes on to point out that not only are CAIR’s membership numbers down, but that support from old friends is down as well. While CAIR reports that its "banquets" are sold out, the fact is that most of them lose money and old reliable's, such as ambassadors from predominantly Muslim countries, no longer bother to show up to CAIR events. How curious that everyone seems to be abandoning CAIR, yet it continues to raise money. Who is donating this money and why?

Gaffney, to be fair, does point out that CAIR does have at least one "respectable" supporter:

"The one bit of good news for CAIR at the 2009 event – well, in addition to their announcement that their fundraiser was "sold out" – came from Libya. Not only did the ambassador himself attend the October 24, 2009 event, but "The People’s Bureau of the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya" also took out a full-page ad in the printed program. CAIR can take comfort knowing that at least Muammar al-Gaddafi cares for CAIR."

The terrorist murderer of Lockerbie supports CAIR! Who knew? … and CAIR repudiates Islamist terror?

CAIR says that it is wrong to blame all Muslims for the actions of a few; this is true. However, it is equally wrong for North American Muslims to remain largely silent, except for a handful, to the terrorist supporting actions of CAIR. We need to see a Muslim-led protest at the headquarters of CAIR.
We need to encourage and see our fellow American Muslims by the score stand up for themselves and against radical variations of Islam, embraced by the likes of CAIR, that are - as described by one American Muslim - "truly a threat" to this country.

The Sun is Back!

Good Afternoon Everyone!
The sun has returned and it is pretty comfortable outside with temperatures in the Kansas City metro mainly in the lower 50s. Highs today should top out in the mid 50s in most spots, with the sunny skies sticking around for the rest of the day. Tonight with clear skies, light winds and leftover moisture from earlier this week we should see fog (dense at times) developing over a good portion of the viewing area. This morning we had dense fog advisories and I wouldn't be surprised if we have a similar advisory for tomorrow morning.
Several little pieces of energy will be moving around us through the weekend, and the big question is whether or not we'll see any residual effects from them. Right now I think we'll see extra clouds for Friday and Sunday...and a very slim chance for some sprinkles and/or light rain Friday night or Saturday morning. The weekend should still be at or above average temperature wise, with highs in the 50s.
Then our attention turns to next week and our potential for rain, snow and colder weather. Models are all over the place for rain and snow chances Monday through Wednesday. The Canadian model has rain possibly switching to snow starting late Monday night into Tuesday. The GFS has nothing precip wise for next Monday and Tuesday and extra clouds with a storm passing to our north on Wednesday. The ECMWF has a chilly rain possibly switching to snow also starting Monday night into Tuesday. Right now I'm still keeping a small chance(20%) for rain late Monday and a rain possibly switching to snow on Tuesday (40%) with a chilly Wednesday in store behind it.
Of course, being five days away things will most likely flip flop a few more times...so for now, that's where the forecast stands. Between now and then, get out and enjoy the lovely weather for today...as we might not see a fully sunny and warm day for a while!
Also, Joe mentioned this yesterday, but in case you missed it...we'll have our winter weather forecast posted on our blog during the afternoon hours tomorrow!

RON PAUL vs BARNEY FRANK

For those of you who have not been following this, Ron Paul has introduced legislation to mandate an "audit" of the Federal Reserve Bank. In typical Congressional fashion, despite Congressman Paul's bill having over 300 sponsors, it will not be voted on. Nope, instead, a bill put forth by Barney Frank to "BAN" audits of the Federal Reserve will be voted on. So, I guess we could say in a backwards sense, a defeat of the Frank bill will lead to an affirmation of the Paul bill.
Remember, this evolved from late 2008 when Bernake & Paulson committed the entire balance sheet of the Fed to stabilize the markets. Congress blinked and sneered as it became evident that a "fourth" entity had control of taxpayers’ money and could act without Congressional approval. Um, there are no such provisions in the Constitution for this!
So the real question about these two identical yet competing bills is, What's worse, Congress involved in monetary policy decisions or a fourth, unelected branch of Government usurping powers granted only to Congress?
If I were Frank or Bernake, I'd be throwing all of my political weight to prevent any audit of the Fed... the devil will be in the details
There are 535 members of Congress, and Paul has 300 sponsors. Guess who my money is on

Mortgage Delinquencies Hit Record High!!!

14% of American homeowners with a mortgage were either delinquent or in foreclosure; a record for the NINTH straight quarter. The number of delinquencies now outnumber those in foreclosure, which is a clear indication that the residential housing market is in for a VERY rough 2010.
Embedded in these numbers is the soaring number of "Prime" mortgages that are in trouble. It is no longer a case of mortgages made to people who couldn't afford a mortgage, but is now a case of credible households without income.
And this morning we've had Treasury Secretary, Timmy Geithner, testifying that the current economic expansion will continue through this year and into next . WHAT! Is he not paying his taxes again???
Shall we include the Commercial real estate market, or save that for another post

IT’S A 2074 PAGE HEALTH CARE BILL!!!
Here are the FUN FACTS:
Spending: The cost of the bill is $2.5 trillion over 10 years of full implementation (2014-2023).
Taxes Increases: Taxes will go up $493.6 billion—nearly half a trillion dollars.
Medicare Cuts: Medicare will be cut $464.6 billion—another half a trillion dollars.
Public Option: The bill includes a government run plan and provides states with the possibility of opting out of participating in that plan. According to CBO, the government run plan “would typically have premiums that were somewhat higher than the average premiums for the private plans in the exchanges.
Employer Mandate: The bill will impose $28 billion in new taxes on employers that do not provide government approved health plans at a time when businesses are still cutting workers.
Bottom Line: Should this bill become law in its current form, it will be a short term, medium term, and long term negative for the US economy and the US dollar. It fails to reduce costs and it increases the government role in 17% of the economy.
Now help me out here. Who does this benefit?

With winter upon us, itss time for snowy and icy streets again. *grumble, gumble* so people, don't just try to force your way though traffic, or you'll just cause a bigger messon the roads than what is already ON it! take your time, and go slower so you don't find yourself in a ditch alongside the roadside. I'm sad to say every year I see people driving like nuthouses on the roads causing pile-ups, and traffic tie-ups as they slip and slide on the surface by simply goingto fast on the road! If you don't have to go out, stay at home! It's not worth racing to get to your work or home on snowy and icy roads, only to wind up in a wreck, and in the emergency ward or worse. The weather makes raods bad enough, so don't add to the mess by racing the storm home or to work. And always make sure you've got a kit in your car in case of emergeency, and always, if you do happen to get stuck, STAY WITH YOUR CAR!!! tie a bright cloth to your antennea, and run your engine for short bursts tyo get warm, and yes, keep that tailpipe clear! you don't want to die of CO2 do you? Just take it easy and you'll get there just fine!

Another Dull Gray Day

Through in a few patches of rain...heaviest east and SE of KC and well, you can't say we didn't warn you...
The storm is still spinning it's wheels across MO at this hour...btw props to the EURO for picking this up so well late last week...it was the only model to correctly forecast the positioning of this storm last FRI I think...meanwhile the sensible weather is about the same...take a look at the storm from space...

Now a close-up view into the state line area...with KC in the middle...

Click on those pictures to make them bigger...
The question is when do we finally clear out the skies and how much can we warm up on THU...assuming we don't clear out a lot tonight...we'll probably not drop much at all from where we are now...and then slowly warm up tomorrow AM before seeing the sunshine go to work...so I suspect 50-55 is doable...it could get warmer IF we clear out faster...MOS data indicates, along with forecast soundings, the potential of 55-58 degrees...again the trick is when we clear out...and the difference of a couple of hours will indeed play a 5 degree role in the temperatures...
Another weak system will pass us by on SAT with the potential for a few patches of rain...especially KC SEwards...but the best energy for this looks to stay well to the south of here...then another weak system on SUN...but at this point it looks like we'll be on the SE side of that...with just a glancing blow...meaning another light event is possible...throughout all of this we're looking at rain and not snow...despite the chilly air now...this storm that's affecting us today has really NO connection to the Canadian prairies so as a result aside form the chilly air and the clouds that it generated...as soon as we get some sun we should moderate heading towards the weekend...
The gray weather though will come back soon enough...actually it won't really be leaving us for any length of time...so what sunshine we do get tomorrow or FRI...enjoy it while you can...because not a lot is in the forecast for the next 5 days...
Next week is a handful right now with the EURO on board for a more dramatic storm(s) while the ensembles aren't nearly that exciting...and the latter are the way we're going to lean at this point in time...something to watch however. By the way today is Winter Weather Awareness day...so if you want to learn more check out the link...also if you want a LOT of winter climatology for the region, the NWS in P Hill has put together a great resource for you...there's also some good climo stuff from the NWS office in Topeka...
We taped the winter forecast for FRI nights show...it runs about 7 minutes then we did an additional 10 minues or so for the web site...where we had a bit more fun with what we were doing...I haven't really changed my opinions that much for the season...I don't have a real strong feeling about things at this point...and storms like the one from earlier this week put the fear into me about how much snow I'm thinking...but we'll just soldier onwards...it's interesting that despite not talking a lot beforehand about our individual thoughts concerning the winter...that we all essentially arrived at some of the same conclusions...look for an early release to you, our bloggers, tomorrow or FRI...we've done this every year I think...and this year there's almost 15 minutes of us discussing things...
Of note...sometime over the next 4 days I'll post the snowfall totals for the region for the past 8 years...and our snowfall climatology from the NWS...
Have a great afternoon!

I Told You So – Yes I Did	Thursday, July 23, 2009Barack Obama	By Howard Galganov When Obama won the Presidency with the help of the LEFTIST Media, Hollywood and Entertainment Liberals, Ethnic Socialists (ACORN), Stupid Non-Business Professionals and Bush Haters, I wrote:It won’t take 6 months until the people figure this guy out and realize how horrible a mistake they’ve made. And when they come to that realization, the damage to the United States of America will be so great, that it will take a generation or more to repair - IF EVER.The IDIOTS who not only voted for the Messiah, but also worked their sorry Butts-off to promote his Lordship, are now left holding the bag. Here are two things they will NEVER do:1 – They will NEVER admit to making a blunder out of all proportion by electing a snake-oil salesman with no positive social history or management experience of any kind.2 – They will NEVER take responsibility for the curse they’ve imposed upon the immediate and long-term future of their country. In essence, the people responsible for putting this horror-show in power are in themselves responsible for every cataclysmic decision he makes and the consequences thereof. In just 6 (SIX) months, the Messiah’s polls are showing the following:On Healthcare Reform - He’s going under for the third time with polling well under 50%, even within his own Party.Even though he might be able to muscle a Healthcare Reform Bill by using Chicago BULLY tactics against his fellow Democrats, it will just make things worse. On Cap And Trade (Cap & Tax) – The Fat-Lady is already singing. On the Stimulus Package (Tax and Spend) - His popularity is in FREE-FALL.On the TARP package he took and ran with from President Bush - It’s all but Good-Night Irene. On the closing of GITMO and “HIS” war on what he no longer wants called the War On Terrorism - He’s standing in quicksand with his head just about to go under. On a comparison between himself and George W Bush at the same 6 months into their respective first term Presidencies - Bush is ahead of him in the Polls. On a comparison between He Who Walks On Water and the 12 preceding Presidents between WW II and now - Obama ranks 10th. On a Poll just conducted, that asks who would you vote for today between Obama and Mitt Romney - It’s a dead heat. Between Obama and Palin - Obama’s ONLY ahead by 8 points and she hasn’t even begun to campaign. It seems to me that Obama wants to be everywhere where he shouldn’t be. He’s personally invested in screwing-over America’s ONLY REAL Middle Eastern ally (Israel) in favor of Palestinian Despots and Murderers. He’s traveling the world apologizing for the USA while lecturing others on how to do it right, when in fact and truth, he has no experience at doing anything other than getting elected. He went to the Moslem world in Egypt to declare that America IS NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION while he heaped praises on Islam, where he compared the “plight” of the Palestinians to the Holocaust. The Russians think he’s a Putz. The French think he’s rude. The Germans want him to stop spending. The Indians want him to mix his nose out of their environmental business. The North Koreans think he’s a joke. The Iranians won’t acknowledge his calls. And the British can’t even come up with a comprehensive opinion of him.As for the Chinese, he’s too frightened to even glance their way.Maybe, if America’s first Emperor would stay home more and travel less, and work a little bit instead of being on television just about everyday, or forget about his Wednesday Date Nights with his Amazon Wife, or stop running to “papered” Town Hall Meetings, perhaps he would have a little bit of time to do the work of the nation. In all fairness, it wasn’t HARD to be RIGHT in my prediction concerning Obama’s Presidency, even in its first 6 months, so I’m going to make yet another prediction:OBAMA WILL PROBABLY NOT FINISH HIS 4-YEAR TERM, at least not in a conventional way.He is such a political HORROR-SHOW, and so detrimental to the USA and his own Democratic Party, that the Democrats themselves will either FORCE him to resign or figure out a way to have him thrown out.Who knows, maybe he really isn’t a BORN US Citizen and that’s a way the Democrats will be able to get rid of him.Or – MORE LIKELY THAN NOT, the Democrats will make Obama THEIR OWN LAME DUCK PRESIDENT.I don’t believe the Democrats have nearly as much love for their country as they do for their own political fortunes. And with Obama, their fortunes are rapidly becoming toast. The Democrats can keep on blaming Bush for EVERYTHING. But, that game’s already begun to wear real thin. Their mantra was “WE DON’T WANT 4 MORE YEARS”, which the STUPID people bought, since McCain was nothing at all like George W Bush. The new mantra will soon become: WE DON’T WANT 6 MORE MONTHS.Best Regards . . . Howard Galganov

The new mantra will soon become: WE DON’T WANT 6 MORE MONTHS.Best Regards . . .
OBAMA WARNS OF "DOUBLE DIP"

In Beijing, (during an interview with "FOX NEWS"; I guess it is a real news organization in China[image]), President Obama warned that the U.S.'s climbing national debt could lead to a Double Dip recession.
"I think it is important, though, to recognize if we keep on adding to the debt, even in the midst of this recovery, that at some point, people could lose confidence in the U.S. economy in a way that could actually lead to a double-dip recession." - Obama
Hum, and what epiphany did he have in China??? He may also want to have a little chat with Benny & Timmy about their Quantitative Easing Program! My guess is he's just trying to get out of China without being scolded by the Chinese again about his monetary policy and pending Health Care costs.
I have an idea, QUIT PRINTING MONEY[image]

PROFITING FROM HYSTERIA

Al Gore is the most visible General in the War on Global Warming which is now the War on Climate Change. My Gore has profited from his movie "An Inconvenient Truth", he has testified before our Congress and has generally spent his years since leaving the Vice-Presidency trying to scare the hell out of the American People in particular and the world in general with his crackpot theories and the earth's climate. The theory has been debunked by a number of scientists and the earth is now cooling (warming and cooling is part of a natural cycle) hence the change to "War on Climate Change". Gore would have you believe that the climate should not change just as environmentalists would have you believe that species should never become extinct even though new species have been coming in and old ones becom extinct throughout the earth's history but that's another story.
There is, for Mr. Gore, good reason to create and maintain this hysteria: there is lots of money in it for him. Mr Gore was worth perhaps 2 million when he left office in 2001. Today he is worth far more. The link to the story is here:
http://minnesotansforglobalwarming.com/m4gw/2009/11/al-gore-set-to-become-first-carbon-billionaire.html
I have to laugh out loud when I think of how the Left has embraced this man and his self serving theory. The poor people who believe all of this are mostly genuine in their concern for the earth but they and or Congress have been suckered by one of history's biggest charlatans. The sad part of this is that ALL of the American People may end up paying for this trickery.

I could not believe it so I had to watch PLANET GREEN`S PLANET MECHANICS this was something that was thought of during ww2 car and trucks running of wood. They take the fuel tank off and the carburator and build a system that basically takes the hydrogen that is in wood smaoke and it compresses it and this in turn makes it more powerful fuel.I was so very doubtful until I watched how they built this in 6 days and drove all over with no gasoline deisel or even electricity to run the truck. It put out half the bad stuff that most cars do,cut the emissions in half !It may not have been superfast about 45 top end but the point is this works,I thought I had seen everything but this is so cool it blew me away.

PROFITING ON PARANOIA REVISTED

Just a quick update on a post I did a few weeks ago entitled PROFITING ON PARANOIA. It was a discussion on people who deliberately inflame people on the Right for profit. One of the many examples that I used was a program promoted on World Net Daily. It offered to send each member of Congress a “pink slip” with your name & address on it to symbolize the “pink slip” you would give them in the next election if they raised taxes, vote for Health Care Reform, etc.
And yesterday was THE day! I am happy to report that the WND event did in fact deliver to all 535 members of Congress “pink slips”. A total of 5 million slips were delivered by box divided up between each member’s office.
Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) was overjoyed at the 5,000,000 slips! She said, “We can't say that we didn't know where the hearts of the American people are.”
Sounds REALLY impressive….until you do the math! Five million slips divided by 535 members of Congress equals approximately 9,346 hearts of the American people. And in a country of 308 million….that’s about 0.00003% of the population.
Still for a “grass roots” protest, 9,000 people isn’t a really bad number, it’s just not as impressive as FIVE MILLION sounds.
But you want to know a number that does sound really good? Try $279,912.70! That’s the amount of money that those 9,346 people paid World Net Daily at $29.95 each to print & deliver the “pink slips”. Over a quarter of a million dollars to make a bulk delivery of 10,000 reams of pink paper to Capital Hill.
Somebody laughed all the way to the bank!

Soldiers die in Afghanistan while President dithers over additional troops.
Unemployment at 10.2% and Congress contemplates job killing Cap and Trade and amnesty for ILLEGAL aliens.
Union enhancing Health Care Reform blocks real reform for sales across state lines and tort reform.
Andy Stern, SEIU President and Lobbyist for SEIU visits White House 22 times while White House ignores the American people. (During the campaign Obama promised that he would eliminate lobbyists influence).
Obama wants Congress to pass business killing "Card Check" bill.
This President and Democrat Congress are considering everything BUT putting Americans back to work. Theirs is a purely political agenda which does not consider the needs of the American People at all.

WHEN CLEAVER ISN"T BUSY WITH OTHER MISCHIEF

This is what Emmanuel Cleaver does with his time when he isn't busy voting "YES" on bad legislation:

From: The Honorable Emanuel CleaverBill: H.Con.Res. 155Date: 11/17/2009
Dear Colleague:
Please join me in co-sponsorship of a resolution, H. Con. Res. 155, to designate the day prior to Thanksgiving as Complaint Free Wednesday.
From time to time, we all experience anxiety, frustration, stress, and regret. And often, we respond to these feelings with a criticism or a complaint. Regrettably, complaining keeps people stuck on current problems, inhibiting them from thinking constructively to find solutions. Research has also shown that complaining can be harmful to one’s emotional and physical health; relationships; and can limit professional career success.
In the spirit of hope, optimism, and postivity, and in honor of its efforts to encourage people to look forward, not backward, the group a Complaint Free World is to be recognized. A Complaint Free World’s goal, in fact, is to motivate 1% of the global population (about 60 million people) to become complaint free.
This timely and constructive (and revenue neutral) resolution would reaffirm the meaning of Thanksgiving by designating the Wednesday before as Complaint Free Wednesday. Surely Complaint Free Wednesday will be a meaningful and powerful reminder to prepare for a day of gratitude.
If you would like more information or would like to sign on as a co-sponsor, please contact Mary Petrovic of my staff. . . . I hope you have a pleasant and complaint-free day.
Warmest regards,
Emanuel Cleaver
Member of Congress

We have been asking for some time now "what is a saved job"? Now it is even worse. Besides claiming to have "saved" jobs (how can you count jobs saved?) the Obama administration is claiming to have saved or created jobs in places and Congressional Districts that don't even exist!
